hand in hand we go

self deception.

the ultimate button of self destruction.


the meaning http://www.dictionary.com/ provided me was: an act or fact of deceiving oneself.

personally i think self deception is believing what you want to believe in, instead of what you should believe in.


or in simple terms, you're just afraid to face up to reality.


what do ya think?




i must admit i am guilty of such and im sure everyone is. there will be times when we're too afraid to know the truth, or we cover up facts with make-believe assumptions and talk ourselves into "giving it one more chance'.


and most of the time we do it to make ourselves feel better and less hurt with excuses being "there must be a reason for it"


and at the end of the day, when you have finally snapped out of that self deceiving phase, you'll realise the reason was simple and it was silly to hold on so tightly to something you shouldnt have.


the hardest lessons in life i feel, is to learn to let go. but apparently, it is one of life's greatest lessons.

everyone has no choice but to go through such a phase in our life. if you hadn't, i believed you have lived in vain.
